Afon-Ysgethin
I had first noticed the Ysgethin many years ago whilst walking in the Rhinogs. There was this beautiful lake, Llyn-Bodlyn, feeding a quite steep river, the Ysgethin.
This is one of the wildest rivers I have ever seen, it is either a gentle trickle or a raging torrent.
It is in the tiny Welsh village of Taly-Bont that it crosses the road on its journey to the sea, which is midway between Barmouth and Harlech which is part of the North Wales coast-line, beautiful place.
I also have to point out that there is a great little pub alongside the river.
