Edinburgh Castle is a fortress which dominates the skyline of the city of Edinburgh, Scotland, from its position atop the volcanic Castle Rock.

As a lover of architecture I could paint this castle over and over again. I found it so challenging it beggars belief, the building is a mass of perspective contradictions. I found that I had to look twice, and then once more because it was trying to fool my eyes.

This together with the constantly changing shadows made it interesting to say the least. 
I am just sorry I can't give you a bigger picture now so that you could see it in all of it's glory.
