The Llanberis Pass
The foot of Snowdon is a good description for this painting, Mount Snowdon is the highest mountain in Wales and is the high peak to the right hand side of my painting.
I took time to sketch this view first and I then took photographs for work in my studio.
The old castle ruins of Dolbadarn still stand guard over the Llanberis pass. One wonders at the magnitude of these mountains.
