Painting in progress

Another example of one of my paintings that is in a sort of 'not sure stage' I was on the island a few weeks ago to finish this painting and one of the subjects, the 'Merlin' was not in the harbour so this one is on the back burner.

The 'Merlin' appeals to me because of her hull design, a single centre keel that looks really quite strange at low water.
She appears to be defying gravity.
