Minus 26 Centigrade Shawbury England
United KingdomIn January 1980 the lowest temperature ever recorded in England was - 26 centigrade, it was recorded at RAF Shawbury in North Shropshire. I was working in a factory and painted this view through the window of the canteen, my water kept freezing and so I add a little antifreeze. An amazing site was the red sunset, man was it cold.
