The Osprey leaving Shell Island

The Osprey leaving Shell Island
North Wales

This is a work study really, not a traditional painting as such.

The 'Osprey' is shown here leaving the harbour and is used in the main for retrieving lobster pots and their contents, she is skipper 'ed by Richard Workman who has cousin James helping with the pots, the figure on the bow is David, Richard's father.

The island is a magnet for rod fishermen as well with some great fishing along the beach and the harbour wall.

The 'Osprey' is just one of many working boats that use the islands harbour.
