Sundancer Sketch

Another example of a sketch that is not meant to be a painting. This picture of the 'Sundancer' is a doodle with some paint
I draw incessantly so as to keep my eye in, boats have a distinct shape that appeals to me, the curves and bends will test anyones drawing skill, mine included.

The other point is shadows, you will see this boat has no strong shadow, this makes it look as if it's floating, I have added a slight shadow but it's not enough.
The rocks look odd as well, becaue of the lack of shadows.
